Rabbit polyclonal antibody to ACTG2 are highly conserved proteins that are involved in various types of cell motility and in the maintenance of the cytoskeleton. All eukaryotic cells express actin, which often constitutes as much as 50% of total cellular protein. At least six types of actin are present in mammalian tissues and fall into three classes - alpha, beta, gamma.

ACTG2 Antibody (C-term) immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human prostate cancinoma followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of ACTG2 Antibody (C-term) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.
