Description

Lymphocyte activation gene 3 (LAG3) inhibits antigen activated T-cells upon binding to ligands. Following TCR engagement, LAG3 associates with CD3-TCR in the immunological synapse and directly inhibits T-cell activation. IHC testing of LAG3 can be used as Prognostic marker in renal cancer (unfavorable) and cervical cancer (favorable).
