Rabbit polyclonal to NAB2.NGFI-A-binding protein 2 (NAB2) belongs to the NAB family. NAB2 acts as a transcriptional repressorfor zinc finger transcription factors EGR1 and EGR2. The first conserved domain of NAB2 mediatesan interaction with the R1 domain of NGFI-A. NAB2 represses the activity of both NGFI-A and Krox20,and its expression is regulated by some of the same stimuli that induce NGFI-A expression, includingserum and nerve growth factor.
