Rabbit polyclonal antibody to SECISBP2. The protein, is highly expressed in the testis, is localized to the nucleus, and it binds to the SECIS element in the 3-UTR of some mRNAs encoding selenoproteins. Defects in SECISBP2 are a cause of abnormal thyroid hormone metabolism.
