Rabbit polyclonal antibody to VSV-g Tag belongs to the Rhabdoviridae family. The VSV-G epitope tag is commonly engineered onto the N- or C- terminus of a protein of interest. This is so the tagged protein can be analyzed and visualized using immunochemical methods. The G protein (glycoprotein) is located at the virion surface, and is responsible for virus attachment and penetration.
